Women’s Ministry

📚 Welcome to the Women’s Ministry Department

The Women’s Ministry Department of the Diocese of Kinkiizi stands as a vibrant, foundational pillar of spiritual growth, family enrichment, and community transformation. Rooted deeply in Christian love and guided by the Holy Scriptures, this department serves as a beacon of hope, bringing together women from all walks of life to grow in faith, serve their families, and uplift society.

The entire scope of this vital department is strategically coordinated under the prayerful leadership and dedicated vision of Rev. Eunice Maririire, whose guidance ensures that the spiritual and developmental needs of women across the diocese are met with excellence. The department is comprehensively composed of two dynamic arms: the long-standing Mothers’ Union (MU) and the steadily growing Christian Women Organisation (CWF), which together form a powerful force for Christ-centered impact.

⭐ The Mothers’ Union: A Legacy of Faith and Global Partnerships

We pour out our deepest hearts of gratitude to Almighty God for the monumental, life-changing ministry of the Mothers’ Union within our diocese. The impact of this union reaches far and wide, touching the very fabric of our homes and congregations. We are profoundly thankful for the beautiful, enduring international relationships that God has blessed us with, which continue to breathe life into our local initiatives.

In a special and highly treasured way, we thank God for the unwavering, generous support extended to us by our global partners:

  • 📖 St. David’s Mothers’ Union in Wales – Whose consistent prayers, fellowship, and material support have greatly strengthened our grassroots activities.
  • 📚 Christchurch Deanery in England – Whose vital partnership continues to empower the Mothers’ Union to fulfill its divine mandate throughout the region.

At the helm of this flourishing ministry is our esteemed Diocesan Mothers’ Union President, Mrs. Joan Tayebwa. Through her exemplary leadership, passion, and steadfast commitment, she continues to inspire mothers to build godly homes and serve the Church with unwavering devotion.

⭐ The Christian Women Fellowship (CWF): Embracing a New Horizon

As the diocese looks toward the future, we are witnessing a powerful move of the Holy Spirit as our communities enthusiastically begin to embrace the Christian Women Fellowship (CWF). This organization is designed to create an inclusive, nurturing environment where every Christian woman can find fellowship, discipleship, and a place to utilize her God-given gifts.

To ensure that the structure of the CWF is solid and deeply rooted in every corner of our community, a systematic expansion is currently underway. Different dedicated committees of the Christian Women Fellowship are actively being formed and established at every single administrative level of our church structure, including:

  • The Diocesan Level – Providing overarching vision, strategic planning, and spiritual oversight.
  • The Parish Level – Coordinating localized fellowships, seminars, and collaborative community outreaches.
  • The Sub-Parish Level – Reaching the very grassroots of our villages to ensure no woman is left behind in prayer, counsel, and sisterhood.
