📌 Church Hierarchy

The Diocese of Kinkiizi operates under the leadership of the Bishop, supported by the Diocesan Secretary and Diocesan Treasurer. Together, they coordinate diocesan administration, finances, and mission priorities.

  • Bishop: Spiritual head and overseer of all diocesan ministries.
  • Diocesan Secretary: Manages administration, communication, and mission coordination.
  • Diocesan Treasurer: Oversees finances, accountability, and stewardship.
  • Archdeacons: Lead the 11 Archdeaconries, supervising parishes and clergy.
  • Parish Priests: Shepherd local congregations and sub‑parishes.
  • Lay Leaders: Support ministry at grassroots level, ensuring every congregation is cared for.
  • Lay Canons: Recognised Elders in the church who spear head specific disciplinary guidance
  • This is followed by Church wardens and church departmental heads such as Senior Church Warden, Hill Church Wardens, Hill leaders, Fathers Union Leader, Mothers Union Leaders, Christian Women Fellowship Leader, Christian Men Fellowship Leader, Youth Leader, Sunday School Teacher, Development Officer, etc ……. all who seat on the Parish council

  • Missions & Evangelism: Driving outreach, discipleship, and revival across parishes.
