CHILD DEVELOPMENTMINISTRY VACANCIES

The Diocese of Kinkiizi invites applications from competent professionals to fill four posts of Child Development Officers. Applicants must be born again Christians between 23–45 years of age.

Duties and Responsibilities

The applicxant should;

• Be a Christian model for children and their families.
• Advocate for children
• .Help children correspond with their sponsors.
• Documentation and record keeping of sponsor relations.
• Ensure safety of children under their care.
• Ensure child health education, monitoring and maintenance
• Project activity planning and implementation.
• Design and monitor HIV/AIDS interventions.
• Ensure satisfactory learning processes (formal or informal).
• Perform any other duty assigned by the Project Director.

Qualifications and Knowledge

The applicant should posses the following qualifications

1. Minimum qualification: Degree in Social Work and Social Administration, Social Sciences, Development Studies, Education or related discipline from a recognized institution.
2. Good oral and written communication skills.
3. Working knowledge of basic NGO accounting.
4. Ability to work in a team.
5. Knowledge of child development programming.
6. Computer skills are a MUST.
7. Creative and innovative.
8. At least two years’ relevant experience.

Duty Station: Resident worker in Kanungu District.
